Newhall is a newly terraformed planet with large oceans. The residents of Newhall live on small island chains or on floating stations on the oceans. Obviously, water is the planet's primary commodity. The water plants are always in need of workers, and therefore the Alliance has great incentives for those who move here. Those who do not decide to work in the water plants are able to make quite a good living in the fishing industry. Aside from the water plants and fishing, there is also good business in the tourist centers.
